Day 147/365 - This Is NOT The Right Bed!

We have now hit "overtired."

EJ is yelling at his bed for pretty much everything.

At least there was no heat exhaustion today. Today was a positive.

And a priceless selfie:
Yes. In a fake dinosaur fossil mouth.

Day 146/365 - Another Day in Epcot.

I mentioned before - we all love Epcot.  So this vacation, we decided to do two days there.

Lesson #1 I learned today:
Two days at Epcot may be a great idea, but probably not consecutively.

Lesson #2 I learned today:
Journey Into Imagination, while staying open until 11pm for extra magic hours on certain nights, closes at 7pm on other nights.

Lesson #3 I learned today:
Make sure Journey Into Imagination is OPEN before promising a four year old he can go see Figment's house one more time.

Lesson #4 I learned today:
My four year old is capable of disappearing in two seconds and can run from the UK to France really fast.  REALLY fast.

Lesson #5 I learned today:
Mary Poppins can calm even my crazed child after being hauled back across the Epcot version of the English Channel.

Lesson #6 I learned today:
Watching my kids chilling out in a hotel room, watching cartoons together, is infinitely more soul-filling than racing to get to parks early in the morning.

I probably learned a whole lot more in the past couple of days, but I'd rather just inundate everyone with photos.

Day 145/365 - Everybody Loves Epcot

Seriously.

It's everyone in my family's favorite park.

EJ would be happy if we spent all. day. on Spaceship Earth.
A. loves the world showcase.

I just love it all. I'm easy like that.

So here's some highlights of our today:

We had a five minute wait for Soarin' this morning - the whole being at the park when it opens works. And you can tell my kids are such morning people.

My kiddos.
No one else was around - so I had to take it.

Back of the boat on Maelstrom!

Family photo before we left the park.

Our PhotoPass photographer took a selfie on my phone, too. I told her she needed to be on my blog for being so awesome!

Day 144/365 - That's Like Twelve Squared!

I wish I had twelve squared photos to share today.

Instead, I have this:

Cuz.  Eeyore.

Also, this was our attempt to take a selfie with the Goofy statue in the front of the park, in the rain.

I need aloe.

Day 137/365 - The Official Start

Summer vacation has officially started.
A. is a rising eighth grader. No more seventh grade for her!  She received awards in science, language arts, and social studies this year - for excellence is grades and being a leader in the classroom. She participated in writer's workshops throughout the spring, as well as stretched herself artistically in classes such as theatre, sculpture, social media, photography, and dance - not to mention continuing her work in violin for her fourth year.
EJ also had a momentous day - we officially registered him for PreK-4 to start this fall. He's super excited to go to school everyday like his sister!

My own momentousness was really enjoying these milestones for my kids.
We're counting down our final days before our big family vacation now - a week I cannot wait to blog about!

Her last photo as a 7th grader this morning.

My little whovian - showing off his original sonic screwdriver while I tried to pack.

And here we all are.

Today. 💗

Tomorrow night, A. will have completed seventh grade. Egads.
